Bold, patinated, solid copper, richly woven bracelet, slightly heavier than most at 41g / 1.45oz.
In a castle near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands there stood a real suit of armour supported to appear as a knight would wear it. I could not help myself as I passed my fingers gently over the surface of the arm's chainmail and admired how the inner part of the elbow's crease merged so perfectly with the sleeve. I feel that I have a kinship with the armourers back then working with metal and chaining. It's a fond memory that I hold dear to this day.
Just as armour then was heavy, so too is this bracelet a tad heavier compared to most of the bracelets that I design. Yet very wearable!
